Labrador Retriever - Baby - Male
Adoptable Large Spayed/NeuteredUp-to-date with routine shotshousetrainedSpecial Needs

Born approximately April 2017, Bentley is a male Chocolate Lab with an indomitable spirit that simply amazes everyone who meets him! He came into our program when his owners brought him to the vet to be euthanized because he’d lost his eyesight from poor breeding. He was bred to be a hunting dog and now that he couldn’t hunt, they decided there was no need for Bentley to live. Mikey’s Chance, along with the amazing vets at Vista Veterinary Clinic, decided it would be best to have his eyes removed since they were bothering him and he had no eyesight at all. Bentley is a confident, friendly and smart dog who doesn’t seem to know he has a disability! He has strongly bonded with his foster mom, and knows all his basic commands. Once he learns the layout of his home he’s good to go! Bentley has a strong sense of smell and hearing that makes it seem like he hardly misses a beat by not having his eyesight. Bentley is otherwise a perfectly healthy and happy pup 🙂
Like all Mikey’s Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise.
